As part of this process, the scope of accreditation was expanded to include four further internationally recognised test methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following has been newly included in the accredited design area:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>I<\/strong><strong>SO 6270-1<\/strong>: Coating materials \u2013 Determination of resistance to moisture \u2013 Part 1: Condensation (single-sided exposure)<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>ISO 12944-6<\/strong>: Corrosion protection of steel structures by coating systems \u2013 Part 9: Coating systems and laboratory test methods for offshore installations and related structures<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>ASTM G154-23<\/strong>: Artificial weathering of materials using fluorescent UV lamps<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>ASTM B764-04<\/strong>: Simultaneous determination of the layer thickness and the electrode potential of individual layers in multi-layer nickel coatings (STEP test)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For our customers, this means an even wider range of internationally recognised testing services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can find the current accreditation certificate <a href=\"https:\/\/ifo.le-an.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/2026_IFO-CHINA_ISO_17025_Approved_tesing_scope.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 30 June, the IFO laboratory in China was successfully re-accredited by CNAS.
