Cyclic corrosion tests are more robust than conventional corrosion testing methods. Corrosion damage accounts for approximately 3–3.5 % of our gross domestic product. It therefore makes sense to regularly evaluate corrosion protection options and monitor corrosion protection measures.
The Technical article (published in *besserlackieren* 06/2025) highlights the benefits of cyclic corrosion testing, which, by means of climatic cycling tests, is based on the actual life cycles of the components.
