Initiated by the GSB, the international quality association for surface finishing in architecture and industry, the IFO supported the relay team at the Metromarathon in Düsseldorf. Andreas Nowak, IFO inspector, and IFO Managing Director Marc Holz took part on 29 April 2018 alongside the team from the GSB and the GDA (General Association of the Aluminium Industry). The 42 km course was completed in light rain.
