New managing director for the Ifo Institute’s co-leadership structure. Marc Holz is to succeed managing director Hans Pfeifer.
The current Head of the Expertise, Research and Development Division will be appointed to the Executive Board with effect from 1 August 2016 and, together with Michael Müller, co-founder and managing partner of Ifo, will take over the leadership of the globally active testing institute. Marc Holz, a graduate chemist, will thus succeed Hans Pfeifer, who has stepped down from the management of the institute due to reaching retirement age.

Together with its sister company, Qubus – Planung und Beratung Oberflächentechnik GmbH, and its offices in Dubai, China and the Netherlands, the Ifo – Institut für Oberflächentechnik provides services to surface technology companies worldwide. More than 80 qualified engineers and technicians work in the fields of inspections, certification, expert reports, contract research, laboratory services, plant and factory design, environmental law and management systems.
