An outdoor weathering test can look this idyllic: on an IFO test rig (see left of the picture) on the island of Sylt, the corrosion resistance of various samples is tested in a stunning setting. Long-term weathering exposure subjects workpieces to complex weather conditions that closely resemble real-world conditions, thereby providing realistic results on corrosion protection and enabling the most accurate possible assessments of service life and quality.
