The GSB AL 631 quality guidelines apply to the coating of components made of aluminium and its alloys used in the construction industry. The GSB AL 663 quality guidelines apply to non-galvanised steel surfaces, strip-galvanised steel surfaces (EN 10346) and hot-dip galvanised steel (ISO 1461, piece galvanising) in the construction industry.
The coating process covers semi-finished products, semi-finished and finished parts, as well as prefabricated structures that have not yet been installed. Only tested and approved products for coating and pre-treatment are used.
In addition to reviewing the comprehensive in-house quality control and documentation programme, our inspectors, as part of the quality inspection, examine profiles that are subjected to the prescribed corrosion tests in our accredited laboratory.
Only approved coating systems may be used. Coating materials are approved in our laboratory.
