The QIB quality mark is aimed at industrial coaters of aluminium, steel and galvanised steel using powder coating, cathodic dip coating and liquid coating. Our inspectors check member companies to ensure they comply with the relevant technical and professional specifications. In accordance with these specifications, production facilities, processes, the documentation of key production data and the product quality achieved are inspected. In addition to reviewing the comprehensive in-house quality control and documentation programme, our inspectors take test panels during the quality inspection, which are then subjected to the prescribed corrosion tests in the IFO Institute’s laboratory.
